Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Our New York Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) program is overseen by BJJ Black Belt, Eduardo Santos of Lotus Club Jiu-Jitsu.
At Camp Undefeated we offer Gi and NoGi classes. In both classes you will learn the basics of BJJ, such as the guard, mount, side control, as well as more advanced techniques. In the Gi class you will also learn how to use the Gi to control and submit your opponent.
A typical class starts out with warming up, followed by stretching. After that you will go into partner drills or doing techniques with a partner. Most classes end with controlled rolling. This is where you will get a chance to apply the techniques you have learned in real time.
Our classes switch between Gi and NoGi every other day, except Friday’s where we free roll. This means that you can come in with or without a Gi and spar or “roll” with another student or instructor.
Because of our close relationship with Lotus Club BJJ we often have high level guest instructors and students visit us. We also have a team that travels and competes in BJJ tournaments throughout the U.S.
